oh yes. i did really enjoy myself @ the church camp '09. it was frm 15-18 june. haish,the camp was so short, so short yeah :(
the verse used was from the KJV version. Philipians 3:13-14.
"Brethren, i count not myself to have apprehended:but this one thing i do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, i press towards the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus."
it is a good verse.
now i'm gonna tell you what we did.
Day 1.
went to tanah merah MRT station. thn went to customs. after that, we were on to M'sia. thn we check in to rooms. thn it was tea time. after that, went for ice breaker. thn it was dinner. thn went to albatross agn for combined praise. sbt half hour, it was lesson. i was wih the adults. thn after lesson, we went for combined praise agn. thn it was night snack. sfter that it was free time. basically, first day was nothing fun. it was boring. but the lesson, pastor Fox told us that God arose immediately to our needs whereas we are becoming more and more self-centered. which we can see for ourselfs daily like ppl seating on the reserved seats in the MRT trains. we oso forget God compassion. Jesus chose to administer to our needs whn he needed some time with God, our Heavenly Father. Christ has even met and supplied our needs. and or inaccurate perspective of our needs is that we tend to focus on what we don't have instead of what we have. in other words, we are not grateful for what we have.
Day 2.
we woke up @ 8am and thn had our morning devotion @ 8.30am. after that, we had breakfast. after breakfast, we went to albatross for combined praise agn. thn it was lesson. omg, the lesson... i wanted to doze off. but i controlled. :)after that itwas lunch. after lunch, we went to albatross agn for combined praise. fo9llowing, we had games. yeah, my team-- Joseph led for day 2. after the 2 hours of games, it was tea time!!! thn it was free time. during free time, i went to swim with other teens and kids. yeah. ay first, i went there, i was dry. but zachary saw me, so he aimed the water gun @me. and squirt. i was wet infront. ok, next was Pastor Alvin. he saw that i was wet infront so he just pushed me into the water. oh no man, i was in the pool !!! after swimming, went to the chinese restaurant for dinner. thn combined praise. aft that, lesson agn. thn combined paise and thn night snack and sleep. slept @ 12mn. aiyo, tired!!
Day 3.
same as Day 2. jus that it is different lessons.
Day 4.
was a little different. there was no lesson instead it was prize presentation. yeah, Joseph won overall though we lost to Moses for day 3. yeah. 3 groups in total. the other 1 is Abraham. yeah. played jacky(jacky is her nickname. its the short form for her name.) PSP. heh, she screwed worms and crazy taxi. coz she is a first timer playing that games.. LOL. but its ok. coz practice makes perfect. hmm, i miss the camp. definitely come back in 2011.
i still rmb ppl who are not frm the church but not to many : Pastor Lawrence, Aunty Katrina, Matthias. Cherryanne-the baby who "sings" the whole day. LOL. the Fox family. Pastor Tony Fox, Aunty Pam Fox, Joshua Fox and Benjamin Fox. yeah, they are friendly ppl. i enjoyed it man. its better thn the special needs camp. gtg. bb.
